At M&C Saatchi Sydney I was the creative lead on Pizza Hut, responsible for managing creative teams, leading digital strategy, and overseeing campaigns from idea to production.
Unlike its UK counterpart, Australia Pizza Hut has got rid of its dine-in restaurants. They now only deliver, and the Pizza Delivery boy is an icon of their brand.
Dance Monkey Boy
Young Australian lads love a sticky BBQ rib. This was a new and unique product for Pizza Hut, so we need something that tapped into this youth culture of slightly self-deprecating, tearing strips off your best mate kind of humour.
We created an integrated campaign to show the lengths one young lad would go to get just one taste of these delicious sticky BBQ ribs.
We also tickled a few ribs along the way.

Pizza Hut partnered with Universal Pictures to promote their new sticky BBQ ribs and the latest Bourne film, The Bourne Legacy. We engaged their Facebook fans and challenged them to share their stickiest situations or re-enact one of Jason Bourne's.
We invited fans to vote on their favourite entry for daily prizes and the winner took home a share of $10,000 in a massive ambient event. The campaign drove huge traffic to Pizza Hut’s Facebook page and grew the fan base by over 100,000.
Delivery Run
In December 2013, Pizza partnered with Sony Playstation in a promotion to give away one PS4 every hour for the entire month.
We worked closely with both Sony and Pizza Hut marketing teams to produce an integrated campaign that everyone involved was very proud of.
It also led to a record number of pizza sales for the month!
